Why does Snodgrass get overlooked?
Gives 100% on the pitch

Dead ball specialist, whips a ball like no one else.

Joint top assist, 2nd top goal scorer. Despite not being a regular starter.

And cunts like Anderson takes his spot because he's supposed to be like Payet

Re: Why does Snodgrass get overlooked?
Snodgrass has a back problem and failed a late fitness test.
Unfortunately, whilst his problem is truly physical, Lanzi's and Anderson's problems are purely metaphysical - but ironically they pass fitness tests despite being spineless

Re: Why does Snodgrass get overlooked?
Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

We were likely betting on a fit Yarmolenko this season, and Anderson getting better (not imploding into dogshit) with Snodgrass and Antonio as "workmen" backup.

Circumstances can't improve Snodgrass, though. But it's all academic, as said: he's injured. Diangana would have made a BIG difference, I reckon. We fucked up with a whole season's loan. And he's now in a better team.

Pile of shit, Injury FC, usual West Ham.

"He can't be shit if we have even shittier players"

Great logic.

Re: Why does Snodgrass get overlooked?
Because he’s perceived as shit, when he is actually quite good with lots of fight. Which is what we need, but unfortunately he’s injured.

Re: Why does Snodgrass get overlooked?
I think he is a poor player. He benefits from having much, much lower expectations to live up to which is the only reason I can think of that people are impressed by him so much. I don’t see him produce anything.

As for his left foot, it used to look really good until he played in a shirt with crossed Hammers on the front.

Re: Why does Snodgrass get overlooked?
I'd take him over Anderson and Lanzini any day of the week. At least He gives all he's got, unlike the other two chicken shots.

Re: Why does Snodgrass get overlooked?
Sounds like we can overlook him for some time...done his back apparently, possibly a disc problem.

Laughable people calling him shit when you consider cunts like Anderson, Lanzini, Wilshire and co. At least he puts in a shift and isn't pure pigshit thick.

Ogbonna, Haller and Masuaku possibilities from July 1st according to Inkersole.

Re: Why does Snodgrass get overlooked?
He is determined and seems to "get" the West Ham fans. Unfortunately he is a Championship player in terms of ability. He might be a useful player for us next season in the Championship assuming we retain him.

Re: Why does Snodgrass get overlooked?
Seems a likeable character, too but his previous clubs - when he was younger, fitter and arguably BETTER....

Norwich, Leeds, Villa....

He's the very epitome of why we're so ordinary and where we are!! One cracking free kick every blue moon. Guaranteed booking. Huff puff. Slow.

Re: Why does Snodgrass get overlooked?
I like Snoddy
Gives his all and seems to be one of the few who gives a shit despite the disgraceful comments Sullivan made about him when it would have been easy to tell them to go fuck themselves and sit out his contract.
But the fact we are lamenting him not playing shows what a state we are in.

Re: Why does Snodgrass get overlooked?
He's been utter shit this season

Re: Why does Snodgrass get overlooked?
"Specialist".. Someone posted his free kick/corner stats the other day and it was abysmal. Slow, very one footed, gets much praise for making unnecessary fouls in our half. Basically a much worse version of Yarmolenko imo.

Re: Why does Snodgrass get overlooked?
We need more grafters like him on the pitch

Re: Why does Snodgrass get overlooked?
I think he's a very average player with bags of determination who takes a very good free kick.

If we're relying on the likes of him and Antonio to save our season, then it's hardly surprising we're struggling.

Re: Why does Snodgrass get overlooked?
Two players injured in pre-season is fairly standard. Being two of our more important players is fairly West Ham.

Re: Why does Snodgrass get overlooked?
or too busy working on his podcast,

I find it strange how players like him and Haller who were playing right before lockdown are then injured after 3 month break.

Re: Why does Snodgrass get overlooked?
He's isn't overlooked, he's injured.
